Today I have a very beautiful free Astronaut baby doll pattern for you. This pattern gives you step-by-step instructions on how to make your own Astronaut! The height of our doll is approximately 11 inches / 30 cm. It may vary depending on the hook and thread you will use. This pattern is suitable for beginners because it uses basic stitches and basic skills in sewing/embroidery.
I would like to thank critter_crochet for this beautiful free pattern. You can find beautiful amigurumi free patterns on our site here. Let’s start

ASSEMBLY
- Sew the head to the body. Add some stuffing as you do this to give the neck some structure.
- Place the hat/helmet on the head, I did not sew the hat to the head because it’s a snug fit and I think it looks better but you can sew it if you’d like.
- Sew the arms to the body.
- Sew the helmet ears to the side of the hat/helmet.
- Sew the buttons and the black bar to the front of the body. You can sew them however you’d like, I chose to have the buttons diagonal to each other with the bar underneath them (see picture for reference).
- Embroider the glare spot however you’d like. I took some white yarn and just threaded it through three rows of the head twice, skipped a row, and then threaded it through one row twice.
- Last but not least, Sew your alien buddy wherever you want! I chose to sew him to the top of the hat/helmet.
